Credential verification

Verify an AUA Certificate

Confirm that an appraiser or umpire currently holds an AUA certification before relying on it.

To verify an AUA credential, enter the person's certificate ID or full name in the AUA certificate verification tool. Every AUA certificate is issued with a unique ID, and the lookup shows whether the AUA-CA or AUA-CU credential is current.

About AUA certificates

AUA certifications are issued by AUA after the candidate completes the required coursework and passes the knowledge exam and practical assessment. They are valid for two years and renewed with 14 AUA-approved CE hours.

Why verify?

Policyholders, insurers, attorneys, umpires and courts may rely on an appraiser's or umpire's stated qualifications. Only current credential holders may use the AUA CERTIFIED APPRAISER™ and AUA CERTIFIED UMPIRE™ marks. If a lookup does not match what you were told, or you need written confirmation, contact AUA.
